Lisa Labre lives in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, with her partner, Serge, and a blended family that includes his two boys, Patrick and Justin, Justin's girlfriend, Naomie, and their ridiculously adorable Morkie, Bailey.
Lisa’s health and fitness journey began more than two decades ago. As she went from teenage athlete to a professional yo-yo dieter, she hit her breaking point on the cusp of her 40th birthday. Out of work, separated, and living with her brother in what could only be described as a "roach motel," she found herself at her highest weight ever—273 pounds. From this unlikely place, she made a series of life-altering decisions that set her on an "unglamorous but profoundly human" path of self-discovery. Her unlikely journey led her to rediscover the joy of movement, find a reserve of "take-no-prisoners" confidence, and redefine her relationship with her body and herself.
Now, Lisa focuses on embracing her inner badass and helping others by sharing what she has learned. Her mission is to help others embrace the unique, imperfect, and endlessly fascinating experience of becoming their best selves.
